WELCOME TO KOMOREARTHIMAGES (KEI)

KomorEarthImages (KEI) is developing as an expression of love and caring for the Earth that is home to us all - a direct connection to the essence of creation and the creator.  Our purpose is to provide visual opportunities to experience a deeper connection to the Earth and, in doing, ourselves.

It is said that in the beginning of things there was a Garden called Eden in which humans lived without separation from nature.  As we ate from the "tree" of knowledge and awareness we began to separate ourselves from nature.  Today we find ourselves riding a roller coaster of Earth-domination, gradually creating toxicities and dangers which threaten to destroy both our planetary home and ourselves.   Each of our actions toward the Earth and it's inhabitants will either be part of the problem, or part of the solution - each action sending ripples of help or harm out into the world.

Struggle and suffering come to every human being.  When we lose ourselves and are overwhelmed – no matter how deeply – the Earth is still there - solid, constant, completely innocent and ready to embrace us, ready to help us get our feet back on the ground.  Just stopping to breath we can feel the energy of the earth flowing from the ground and through our bodies into the sky.  When we hike into a woods, or up a mountain or along seashore there is a replenishing that happens through all of our senses.

Photography is a poor substitute for the real experience of Earth-Connection, but at least it can encourage us to open the door and step out into nature – to walk back into the "Garden of Eden" in our minds or on our feet. To find our way back into the oneness we are told once existed between the Earth and humankind.

KomorEarthImages provides photographic images that draw the viewer back into Earth-Connection.  A connection where powerful healing for ourselves, and for our planet waits for us to learn to flow with it in our own creative ways.  We encourage you to spend a little time with a favorite image you find here, to really feel what it would be like to be there in that place – to breathe that air and feel that sun and hear those sounds.  You are welcome to take these images with you – they belong to the Earth, not to the camera that serves only as a bridge to access them.  We ask only that you credit KomorEarthImages at all times when displaying or using these photographs, allow others to find this place and hear this message and perhaps discover hope and new ideas for sending ripples of healing into the world.
